A cozy Jamaican restaurant set in a beautiful environment, The Plant in Pittsburgh, NC. The food is awesome, with the right amount of kick to the spices, and the meat falling off the bone. I definitely recommend visiting and dining out here. Seating outside and inside, it's a great experience.

Quaint little village atmosphere with multiple food coffee and vibes options. Kitchen 99 was a damn fine spot to grab some fresh Jamaican grub, which I apparently now like. Best purple coleslaw (according to the wife) ever. I had pork, chicken, and shrimp taco type things and they were all damn good. Bit of zing, unknown spices, and a touch of sweet. Definitely going back to try more. Coffee shop across the way served up some great Java, and the starlight mead factory at the entrance was an awesome tasting experience . My only complaint is the 2 hours travel to return again.... totally worth it but I hope next time I get the nightlife vibe experience. Ps... green house was closed yet they still accommodated us for a few baby plants to take home. Can't speak highly enough of this little village.

I recently visited Kingston 99 Kitchen and ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Rasta Pasta with a Ginger Beer to go, and it was absolutely amazing! The Rasta Pasta was rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned, with tender chicken and juicy shrimp that made every bite a delight. The Ginger Beer was the perfect refreshing complement to the flavorful meal. Although I took my food to go, I noticed they have a welcoming indoor seating area and a nice outdoor seating option as well, which adds to the overall charm of the place. Whether you dine in or take out, this spot offers authentic Caribbean flavors that are not to be missed. I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu!

Thia restaurant is located in a very cute family friendly area. My family is in town for a tattoo convention, and we can never say no to Jamaican food. Growing up in a predominantly Caribbean neighborhood we ate it frequently. The food was pretty good, and the customer service was excellent. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because $6 for 4.5 slices of plantains is crazy. I thought for $6 I would have enough to share, so that was disappointing. And the oxtail was a bit on the sweeter side which I found odd but still good. Still better than any Jamaican food I've had in Raleigh area.

Kingston 99 Kitchen offers a wide variety of foods from Jamaican cuisine that taste excuisite with flavors just like home. As a Jamaican I found that the hosts were quite welcoming with their warmth and good humor. The eating areas were clean and a small view of the kitchen was available showing a clean station. The restaurant was also easily accessible with sufficient parking space. Overall a place perfect for a family's evening out at a restaurant. I highly recommend!

Had a taste for Jerk Chicken and my wife wanted to try some red snapper escovitch. I had seen great reviews about this restaurant a few weeks ago and we decided to try it. Food was amazing and the owner and staff were very friendly. The owner talked to us and explained to my wife that the fish was very spicy and that it was a whole fish with the head on it. The fish was a little spicy, but my wife loved it. The jerk chicken was seasoned well and went well with the rice and peas and cabbage. Great experience! Will definitely be back.

The food at Kingston99 is amazing! Authentic and freshly made, I can vouch for the jerk pork, escovitch snapper and oxtail meals. The Ackee & salt fish spring rolls are winners! Can’t wait to try more items off the menu. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful. Chef Jason is a wonderful guy! On my first visit, when we placed our order, he realized they were out of the item and he ran out from the kitchen to apologize and offer us alternatives. Service with a smile (not your typical Jamaican restaurant experience iykyk)! Go try it yourself and check out the other offerings at The Plant in Pittsboro - very family and dog friendly
